"The very first thing which I try to emphasize when I describe this place is the people - they're the greatest asset we have."

Senior Recruiter

Natalia's story

How did your adventure with McKinsey start and develop?

I joined McKinsey by applying online. I was just about to start the last year of my studies and wanted to combine it with a full time job. Thanks to a flexible working schedule I could do both – attend some classes while going to work every day and gaining some experience.

My path at McKinsey started as a Visual Communications specialist. Later I moved to the HR Department to support recruiting efforts in Germany. Now I have opened a new Visual Communications chapter as a local recruiter. I search for the best talents to join the greatest teams ever!

What responsibilities and challenges does your role involve?

I encounter many challenges every day. I think this is what makes my role so special. I love collaborating with my recruiting team as well as other service line colleagues.

What do you like the most about working at EMEA Shared Services?

Contacting candidates, talking to them about our center, and encouraging them to find their way in the EMEA Shared Services reminds me every day how great our work environment is and what wonderful people we have.

Can you share an interesting fact or observation about the local office and your role in it?

Seeing the center and the people grow every day is the best vision of the future I can imagine right now. As long as the center develops, people can develop too, so if I can contribute to that in my daily work, I am in.
